Burning with Skills - Burn Deck

Hi once again, I'm here to bring some hints and tips on building a burn deck. A burn deck is a kind of deck which focuses on defeating an enemy by reducing its Life Points by Direct Damage(s). Evidently, burn deck is derived from burning which happens to be the process of giving the opponent direct damage as their Life Points reach to 0. Burn Decks are visibly fun to use. But in behind, there are a lot of strategies and techniques to be learned to enhance and to mark excellence your burn deck.

Getting Started...

Before any further ado, we'll start with a brief strategy and technique guide. There is a card; Solar Flare Dragon which enables you to inflict 500 Direct Damage to your opponent's Life Points. Imagine that you have 3 Solar Flare Dragons on the field, that will give 1500 Direct Damage in one turn, if this will simultaneously continue, after 6 turns or less, you will definitely win the battle. Alternatively, Bowganian is just great. It will allows you to inflict 600 LPs to your opponent each standby phases Bowganian is face up on the field.
After learning some hints and tips, try to collect the cards...

Where to Get the Cards..?

Most of the cards are fire, so I suggest you to go get a Structure Deck... #3 Blaze of destruction..

Rising Deads - Zombie deck

Hi, Yu-Gi-Oh! fanatics. Here's another hint in building such decks. This time rendering on creating a powerful zombie Deck. Zombies are powerful in some cases. Zombies are sometimes fun and powerful enough to defeat your enemy. Most often, zombies are Special Summoned from the Graveyard so don't even get surprised if you could see Zombie Decks with such cards that have discard one card from your hand or discard card(s) from your hand or deck in its description. There are variety of Zombie Decks and we will talk about it few words later.

Getting Started

In most cases, when creating a deck, is to pick up the right kind of Deck you wish to create. It is very important as it let you know what kind of cards you would be needing and what strategies are inside the chosen deck. Eventually, ideas pumped out to somebody's head and created such zombie decks. They are the following:

- Zombie Mill Deck - Milling is the process of reducing your opponent's cards in his/her deck. This is alternatively great rather than attacking your opponent or battling them (which is risky though)... There are such cards like Vampire Lord, Vampire Lady, Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower, Robbin' Zombie, Gravekeepers Servant, Needle Worm and some such cards that can Mill your opponent's Deck. A great hint is using Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower; click here to view Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower's effect. Take this as an example: You had 3 Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower FACE-UP on the field, now each time a Zombe-type monster is Special Summoned, your opponent will have to discard 6 cards instead of 2 in their Deck. The simple rule to be remembered is that "Mill your opponent as many cards possible in the quickest time"

- Zombie Swarm Deck - This kind of deck centers in special summoning Zombies mostly on Graveyard. Good cards will be needed to create this kind of deck. This will include: Pyramid Turtle, Goblin Zombie etc. Card Trooper and Magical Merchant could help you bringing Zombies to the graveyard, take Foolish Burial too. Once Zombies are on the graveyard, try to revive it using such cards as: Book of Life; Monster Reborn; Mezuki. One tip I could give you is to discard monsters with higher ATK. Because once you've summon it from the Grave, victory is yours, almost. Since you are special summoning from the grave, try to put some Card of Safe Return allowing you to draw 1 card for each monster Special Summoned from the Graveyard. Also, try to mill your own deck a bit to earn chances to special summon zombies from the grave. Try these: Armageddon Knight and a couple of lightsworn monsters.

Dressing Up the Duel!

Tired of playing with the old-fashioned mats and card protectors? Is it boring to see these plain game mats and card protectors? Duel in a fun way!!! Dress up the Duel with cool protectors and customized Game Mats!!!

Game Mats...
Game Mats have an important role in Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game™. Recall that the Game Mats where you place the cards. These cards include the Deck, Fusion Deck, Field Spell Card etc. There are different slots inside the Game Mat:
  • Deck Zone
  • Fusion Deck Zone
  • Graveyard
  • Monster Card Zone
  • Spell and Trap Card Zone
  • Field Spell Card Zone

Deck Zone - where you place the deck.

Fusion Deck Zone - refers to the place where you put on the Fusion Deck

The rest are on the Official Rulebook, try to read it! Below is an example of a custom Game Mat:

Card Protectors....

Card Protectors function mainly for protecting your card in any certain damage possible. Card Protector is also a good alternative to a Game Mat. Take this as an example: When you don't have a Game Mat and you know where to place the cards, and it happens that you don't want to get your card damaged, then put the card protectors on. Below is a picture of my Card Protector I bought somewhere in a mall in Manila, Philippines.

You're Very First Strongest Dragon Deck

Hello, this is the first blog post of Yu-Gi-Oh! Philippines rendering hints and tips in creating your most powerful and strongest Dragon Deck. Dragons were supposed to be a type of monster in Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game™, which are commonly the strong ones in terms of attack and defense. Eventually, Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game™ released a bunch of cards that will strengthen a certain Dragon Deck. Until then, evidently, dragons become more powerful, that's what we will feature in this blog post.

Getting Started...

Before you could create the kind of dragon deck you desire to build, there are some pointers to remember and to be understood. Just a few. Include what kind of Dragon Deck would you like to create... because there are many dragon deck in types, I will put some below:
  • Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon Deck

  • Red Eyes Black Dragon Deck
  • LV Dragon Deck

  • King Dragun Deck
  • Dragon High Breed Deck

- Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon Deck - this deck centers on the dragon monster card, Blue Eyes - Ultimate Dragon which is the fusion monster card when 3 Blue Eyes White Dragon is fused and can be offered to Special Summon Blue Eyes -Shining Dragon. But deeply, this deck uses a bunch of light monsters and cards that can support the ace card, Blue Eyes - White Dragon..

- Red Eyes Black Dragon - this deck is usually revolves around summoning Red Eyes Black Dragon and to special summon Red Eyes Darkness Dragon. A card called Red Eyes Black Chick is way very helpful to summon Red Eyes Black Dragon and lastly special summon Red Eyes Darkness Dragon. Red Eyes Black Chick has an ATK lower than 1500, so its very helpful if you associate it with Masked Dragon. For more information about Masked Dragon, click here...

- LV Dragon Deck - Cards like Horus the Black Flame Dragon, and Armed Dragon are LV monsters. LV monsters are one of the great features of Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game™. They mainly function through leveling them up. As they levels up, they also get stronger. Adding these two dragons on your deck will be strong enough to defeat your opponent. The main rule in this deck is to Level up the LV monsters and Special Summon them in the shortest time possible.

- King Dragun Deck - King Dragun is the fusion monster card of Lord of D. and Divine Dragon Ragnarok. Just to refresh your memory, Fusion Monster Cards are combination of two or more monsters that is fused by an effect of a certain card. King Dragun is way very powerful. It's effect is very powerful as it get dragons unaffected by any effect. Just remember that when creating this deck, you'll need a Dragon's Mirror to easily summon King Dragun.

- Dragon High Breed Deck - The term, "High Breed" means the advanced version of any certain dragon deck in such cases. High Breed decks are just like beatdown decks. This deck mainly function negating, destruction, direct attacking, direct damaging, etc... In short, it evidently function defeating your opponent in shortest time possible. On the other hand, this kind of deck is what we'll feature...

Once you've choose the right deck type, try to pick the right cards. Let's move on

Where to Get the Cards...

You won't get easily stressed on where to get the cards, they are easy to collect! Below is the list of Card Sources (i.g Structure Deck, Booster Pack)...

  • (SD1) Structure Deck - Dragon's Roar
  • (LOB) Legend of Blue Eyes
  • (FET) Flaming Eternity

These are only some. Go here to find out where to find such cards.

Hints and Tips...

As said just a while a go, we'll feature a Dragon High-Breed Deck... This has 3 main cards namely: Horus the Black Flame Dragon, Armed Dragon and Mirage Dragon. I'll try to explain it.

Horus the Black Flame Dragon (any LV) is unaffected by any Spell Cards. So this will hold down spells. Armed Dragon (LV5-10) destroys a monster by discarding 1 monster from your hand. Think its enough? There's more! Mirage Dragon negates the Trap Cards!!! What a deck?!!

I advice you also to add Element Dragon whose effect centers on the cards present (face-up) in the field: - Fire: Increases the ATK by 500; - Wind: If this card (Element Dragon) destroys a monster in battle, it can attack once again. So for this combo, you'll need the following:

  • Horus the Black Flame Dragon(any LV) / Masked Dragon

  • Armed Dragon(any LV)

  • Element Dragon

To start, there should be all of the three face-up on the field, since Horus the Black Flame Dragon /Masked Dragon is a fire monster, and Armed Dragon (Any LV) is a wind monster, both effects of Element Dragon will be executed.
